About
Besthotels.com is currently in its initial open beta phase (0.0.2).
In short:
We are building a site that only lists the best hotels in the world.
How?
When a typical traveller is planning to visit for example a new city/destination, they spend several hours researching just one city
(and then as many hours comparing those options to other cities/destinations that might be better), to find out which are the best museums,
landmarks, parks, concerts, restaurants, beaches, etc and which hotels are best when taking all of those into account (proximity to what we want to visit, how good the hotel is and
how to get as much value as possible what you pay for).
With our own recipe (algorithms and manual tinkering) Besthotels.com is our attempt to drastically reduce that research
time, by filtering out all noise and display the most relevant/important data in a compact format. We want to display the highest signal-to-noise ratio possible for each destination
and only display the best hotels in the world to make it as easy as possible for travellers to find exactly what they are looking for. Due to the site's nature, the site is tilted
towards slightly more high-end travelling and not budget travelling although value for money is definiately a factor we take into account.
We are working overtime to add more hotels.
